Integrating of Remote Sensing and Airborne Magnetic Data to Outline the Geologic Structural Lineaments That Controlled Mineralization Deposits for the Area around Gabal El-Niteishat, Central Eastern Desert, Egypt

The Gabal (G.) El-Niteishat area lies in the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt which is known for various mineral resources and geological structures. Umm Gheig, Naggat, Shaddad, Wadi (W.) Zeidun Sigdit represent some important regions that contain deposits study area. Various filters such as first vertical derivative (FVD), horizontal gradient magnitude (HGM), tilt (TDR) near-surface were applied to airborne magnetic data deduce structural lineaments source edges controlled by presence deposits. Processed Landsat ETM+ images are used delineating rock unit boundaries exposed serpentinite, metagabbro, metavolcanics metasediments. Also, band ratios, principal component analysis (PCA) false-color composite image (Crosta alteration image) get specific results about zones. illustrated common trends affected NW-SE, NE-SW, E-W N-S. Integration remote sensing exhibited relation between mineralization lineaments.
